About UsWe are on a journey at First United Methodist Church. We do not pretend to be perfect people, for we are not. We do not imagine ourselves possessing all of the answers to every single question in life; but we do believe that in Christ there is peace, purpose and power for living in the midst of the many questions we face. At First Church, we believe Jesus Christ is the answer, not only for the problems in our world, but to the personal problems and challenges we face. There is hope for all who turn their hearts and minds in the direction of Christ. We are learning that there is purpose for living when we encounter God’s love, build our lives on the principles given to us by the Heavenly Father and allow His Word to transform us.
